Third in a series of caches dedicated to obscure public sculpture
of dubious aesthetic value... I'm not sure what this is supposed to
represent, but steel sure does make a good surface for a
magnet!
Cache is a magnetic key holder. Bring a pen. Congratulations to
dyknomight (heyheyhey!) for FTF!
This corner marks the edge of Pier 94, part of the Port of San
Francisco. The bridge in front of you crosses the outlet of Islais
Creek, a waterway that once ran from Glen Canyon, under what is now
Alamany Blvd and 280, into the bay. Further down the channel, the
copra crane (currently removed for renovation) once unloaded
coconut from the Phillipines ( check out my other cache:

).
This is a lonely area at night, so use common sense. You can park
behind GZ.
