Geocache Description:

The Fifth in the "Curse of the FTF (Wellington)" series of caches.

Thanks to Boxhill for initiating the Curse of the FTF (Wellington) – GC2K35Q Series.

The rules are really simple ...
Guidelines for this Series:
  1. FTF'er should place the next cache in the series (in this case, Curse of the FTF #6
(Wellington) .... ) within 1 month. Please note only the FTF'er should place the next cache and not every person that finds the cache.

  2. You can only be the FTF for this series once, and no joint FTFs will be accepted on these caches. This spreads the FTF love around, and gives others a chance to play along. (This is at least until everyone who wants to has had ago at FTF).

  3. Cache can be any size or type (Puzzle, Multi, Trad, etc.), but I do ask that you set it within the Greater Wellington Area (Wellington, Hutt Valley, Wainuiomata, and Kapiti Coast up to Waikanae), and if it is a puzzle then it cannot be too hard, as it should be easy enough for everyone to find.

  4. You must include this set of guidelines in your listing for the series. I will be happy to answer any questions concerning the guidelines or about the placing of caches to those who have not placed a cache before.

There is no requirement besides the standard signing of the cache log to prevent you from logging this cache when found. Everyone should log their find, and hopefully the FTF person will play along and place another cache, but it is in no way a requirement for logging your find. But if you don't intend to carry on the series, please do not claim the FTF, and leave it for someone else.

Note:

Under Geocaching guidelines, while there is no requirement for the FTF to place a new cache within a month, it is hoped that future FTFérs, if they so wish, will enter into the spirit of the series and continue placing new caches.

Getting to the Cache

This is your opportunity to take a drive in the country. You may even feel like bringing the golf clubs. From either Karori or Johnsonville take the appropriate route for Ohariu. Follow the road out to the Ohariu Valley Golf Club. The cache is nestled nearby. Please be careful driving and parking as the roads are quite narrow. There isn't a lot of parking at the cache location.

You are looking for a camouflaged 200ml clip top container with logbook, pencil and a few swops. Please NOTE that you must sign the logbook for each cacher. Finds logged online, not corresponding with the logbook may be deleted.
It would be appreciated if you would please hide the cache back how you found it, as we really don't want it to get muggled.
There was a small reward for the FTF.

Remember - No joint FTFs accepted on these caches!!
