The cache is situated at the "top" of the runway just outside the Albury Airport in a nice little spot with plenty of parking & with great views of the runway - day or night.
The Albury Airport has more than 300,000 passengers passing through the terminal each year, and is the 2nd busiest regional airport in NSW which is owned & operated by Albury City Council. Over 200 flights per week operate with the following airlines: Qantaslink, Regional Express & Brindabella airlines. Flights to Melbourne, Sydney & Canberra daily. (Canberra - not Sat)
Best times to catch one of the bigger planes coming & going are between: 7:00am to 10:30, 12:30 to 1:30 and anytime after 4pm. All throughout the day there are many smaller & charter planes flying about.
Cache is a micro with the hiding spot 'carefully' chosen by our eldest GeoKid when he was 4yo.
*** This is a very busy road - some stealth maybe required at certain times of the day - Please ensure the cache is not visible before you leave. We drive past this way daily & not very often we don't see a car in the area.***
We hope you enjoy the spot as much as we do. Good Luck & Happy Hunting.
