NOTE: My preferred method of communication is through notes on the cache page in question. However, should you wish to use email - please do not select "reply". In general, a replay to the geocaching.com mail bot will not reach me. Instead, please go to your cache page and e-mail GeoCrater from the log there or email me directly at geocrater@gmail.com, referencing the cache URL, or waypoint number.

Geocache Description:

Across my favorite bakery in NW Portland is a strange structure. The cache is a magnetic Nano attached to this structure. That should limit the hiding possibilities enormously. Keywords are STRUCTURE and MAGNETIC:

Should be an easy find, if not for the hundreds of muggels around. Sometime you will see some for long minutes at the structure itself. So use extreme stealth or take a coffee and a fresh roll or some of those wonderful pastries until the area is cleared. (This is NOT an advertisement – just an idea for the wait). Certainly BYOP.

Could you do me a favor while writing your geocache.com log. I would like to get an idea about the potential stories behind that structure. What is its purpose? What does it want to tell us? What memories are associated with it? What were its creators intentions with that medley of wood and iron? If you have no clue (just like me) use your imagination and creativity – just make up a good story – so the readers of the logs will have some fun – everything is possible. We are in Portland where fun, serious and sometimes even weird stuff happens. Let’s hear your ideas.

AND if you are one of the few enlightened who really knows what this is all about let us ignorant know the truth or just deceive us with another good story. Your choice.

So – the race is on:

a) get to the structure
b) find the nano
c) sign the log
d) think about the structure
e) come up with a good story
f) submit it to geocaching.com

And while a-c are mandatory to get the smiley – d-f are voluntary bonus steps to make the day for the CO as well as for all the readers of the logs. Thanks for sharing.
