You know what it's like. You're either just sitting down to eat
dinner or you're in the middle of cooking dinner when the computer
bleeps to say that you have new mail. And of course, a cache has
been published! Dilemma - do you go or do you stay?
Well, it might be considered bad form to just get up and go,
almost as bad as answering your mobile in front of aunty H when
she's around for dinner. On the other hand, the thought of an FTF
is very appealing. You tell the family sorry, but you just have to
go - you can almost hear their thoughts - "What, no dinner? Nutty
as a fruitcake, barmy, cuckoo, crackers, certifiable!". You nearly
give in at this point, but then you feel you'll have missed an
opportunity. Dinner can wait! You leave the room and head for the
car. Time passes. Mission accomplished.You return home. Dinner is
in the dog. You sigh, sit down and switch on the tv - another sigh,
nothing but repeats.
