Esta Micro-Cache está colocada numa cavidade de
uma encosta junto ao rio Lizandro, a cerca de 800m da foz. À
esquerda desta cavidade, a uma distância de cerca de 10m
encontra-se a entrada de uma pequena, mas bonita
gruta.

This microcache is hidden in a small cave on a
slope face approximately 800m from the Lizandro River mouth. Ten
metres from this cave is another smaller but beautiful
cave.

GERAL:
Esta gruta possui algumas pequenas aberturas para o exterior pelo
que, com algum tempo de habituação, é possível observar
completamente o seu interior.
Sugestão:
Recomendo calças de
ganga e calçado não escorregadio para o percurso de subida e
descida. Um blusão de mangas será bom, mas não essencial. A roupa
irá ficar suja; escolha roupa apropriada. |

GENERAL:
This small cave has several openings and in matter of minutes your
eyes will adapt to the light making it easy to observe all the
feature inside the cave.
Suggestion:
I
suggest you attire yourself in clothes that you don’t mind dirtying
and wear shoes with non-slip soles for the short climb and
descent. |

INDICAÇÕES:
1-
Ainda perto do carro, e em piso de alcatrão, existe uma bifurcação:
para a direita desce. Escolha a direita e em breve estará a
caminhar num trilho de terra entre terrenos de cultivados. Não
necessitará de sair do trilho para chegar ao ponto "Base". A cerca
de 20m do ponto "Base" o trilho termina. Uma vez chegado ao ponto
"Base" reveja a fotografia e tente reconhecer a área onde a
Micro-Cache está colocada. |

INDICATIONS:
1-
Near the car, on the tarred road, there is a bifurcation. Choose
the right one that descends. Soon after you should be walking on a
dirt track crossing between two cultivated fields. The track ends
approximately 20 m before the "foot of slope" point. At this point
observe the image and try to determine where the cache is
hidden. |

Aparentemente não existe caminho por onde subir. Olhe ao nível da
sua cabeça, praticamente à sua frente e um pouco à esquerda do
pinheiro. A entrada é um "túnel" por entre arbustos e vegetação. A
subida poderá aparentar ser difícil mas, de facto, não o é tanto.
Suba, colocando firmemente os pés nas saliências da rocha e
segurando-se aos caules mais grossos dos arbustos. Não se segure a
caules secos. Ao chegar ao topo da subida, junto a uma grande
parede de rocha, tome o trilho da esquerda. Após uns 7m percorridos
existe passagem para a grande cavidade aberta à sua direita
(agarre-se bem às saliências na rocha). A Micro-Cache está no
interior da cavidade, presa firmemente entre duas pequenas
saliências na parede da rocha. Não está enterrada. Por favor
observe bem como está colocado o recipiente para repô-lo no seu
exacto lugar e posição, por forma a ficar protegido do vento e bem
escondido. Certifique-se de que ficou bem fechado. Depois de
assinar o Log Book, visite a pequena gruta. |

2-
Apparently there is no way upwards. However, observe ahead of you,
at approximately, head height a little to the left of the pine
tree. The entrance is a "tunnel" amongst the bushy vegetation.
Climb to the top using the available hand and footholds. At the
top, near the rock outcrop, take the left-hand. Approximately after
walking 7m there is an entrance to the small opening on your right.
The microcache is inside firmly held against the rock wall and is
not buried. Please note how the cache is "attached" to the rock
wall and place exactly as before so it is protected from the
elements. After signing the log book, visit the nearby small
cave. |

3- Saia da cavidade e caminhe para a esquerda (consulte a
fotografia). A cerca de 10m encontrará a entrada da gruta. No seu
interior não é possível ficar em pé e, no segmento final, é
necessário rastejar um pouco para atingir o fundo onde já existe um
pouco mais de espaço. Nesta pequena gruta existem algumas
formações. POR FAVOR, não toque nas estalagmites ou estalactites
(bem como em quaisquer outras formações), pois são muito frágeis
(algumas têm um diâmetro de apenas 4mm). Se desejar sentar-se,
faça-o apenas no chão. Não risque ou marque as paredes (embora
alguns, infelizmente, já o fizeram). Se encontrar lixo deixado por
outras pessoas, por favor recolha-o. Faça o seu melhor para
preservar este local.

3- Leave the opening and walk to your left (See image).
Approximately 10m on you will find the entrance to the small cave.
Inside you can easily stand up although in the final sector, you
will have to crawl to reach the extremity of the cave. There are
various formations in this cave. DO NOT touch the stalagmites and
stalagtites as they are extremely fragile. Do not scratch the walls
or mark them in any way. If you find any rubbish left by others,
please remove it and do your best to preserve this
location.
