paconlacellars: I returned from vacation and checked out the cache. Yes, the cache is gone and the trail has been upgraded since I was here last. Lots of evidence of muggles with mtn bikes. I think this one would be hard to keep active in the future. I have archived it. Thanks to all those who have searched for this one!

Geocache Description:

This is a short multi with the cache located a short walk up an easy trail to an easier find. This cache was hidden as part of the 3rd Annual Vancouver Island Hide-&-Go Cache.

The above coordinates should take you to a metal structure made up of three large units. • On the middle unit (#2) count the number of compartments and multiply this number by 5. This is the bearing in degrees true. • On the same unit, note the number of the middle compartment on the bottom row; square this number. This is the distance in metres to the cache location. Stealth may be needed as this is a busy area for muggles. Please watch for traffic when crossing the street! Initial cache contains a disposable camera - take a picture for posterity.
