Guess away, did you catch last night's game 3? It was a long
one.
It wasn't that long in innings but the rain sure made it long in
hours!
Well Tim, looking back there have been long and short series,
counting by innings and by games. Rules change over time and you
may factor in National rules over American. The
number of games played to get to the final has
changed as well. There were 4 years in which the Championship was
best of 9, rather than 7. Games must be completed now, no early
finishes due to rain. Innings pitched for a single pitcher has thus
gone up.
Interesting I guess but I am more of a hockey fan. Does this
baseball talk help me with anything?
