Geocache Description:

I was driving through the Winco parking lot and I noticed there is an orchard nestled seeming in the middle of a shopping center. It reminds me of how this area used to be at one time. Orchards as far as you can see. As suburbia encroaches these precious open spaces are quickly disappearing. Kinda sad being this area has great growing soil that's taken literally thousands of years to accumulate. Once these fields are covered up, that's it. They become torchered orchards.
I noticed that these old farms are for sale. Will these orchards too become torchered? The building boom is over for now so we may enjoy these trees for a few more seasons. The longer the better.
