Cable Crossing Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nomex: Hi
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, [RED]and assuming it still meets the guidelines[/RED], we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Don't hesitate to email me via the link on my Profile if you have any questions. [red]Please be sure to include the cache name and GC Code, or better yet, the URL of the cache page.[/red]

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

When the cache was placed, this area was through a pocket of undeveloped parkland near easy parking. Now, there's a new park called Tidewater Aquatic Center. The "Related Web Page" link above includes info on what's here now, as well as a photo of what the site looked like when we hid the cache. Bring a pen.

Treasure-hunting grrl and I were taking a bike ride and found this relatively new park. There was a little bit of wilderness adjacent so we went exploring. I happened to have a 35mm film container with me, so when she said this place would be a good place for our first geocache hide, I had to agree. There's a nice view of Alameda and the High Street Bridge from this park.

Very dog-friendly area, but please clean up after your pooch does it's business, as some owners haven't and it's not cool dodging dog bombs. Maybe we'll bring Olive the geo-dog and let her explore.
