Make that Fire Captain Chadlynn, and this is her station, Hillcrest Station 75. Chadlynn started at the age of 18 with the Montgomery Creek Volunteer Fire Company. She has been with CalFire (CDF) for 16 years. Chadlynn was born and raised in the area, is now a Captain and is Rat&Mushrooms daughter. Hillcrest Station 75 had 2 engines until 1990, now has only one. In 1992 it survived the Fountain Fire that destroyed 64,000 acres and more than 300 homes. At one time there was a hunting camp behind the station that was used by many.
