A small-sized cache near Downtown Hayward
This cache is an Altoids tin. There are literally hundreds of hide spot opportunities at this cache site, so please be thorough and patient. Once you find it, you will be amazed you didn't spot it sooner, so DON'T GIVE UP!
This corner lot had been undeveloped for quite a while and neighbors don't always clean up after their dogs, so watch for "Ground Sprites." Take a moment after you find the cache to appreciate the arboreal magnificence of this tropical specimen.
Please replace the cache in its residence so as not to be too obvious for the next cacher to amble by.
Update of 1/1/09: Came by to check on this one found it missing in action! Someone removed a few of the natural hide spots and sure enough, one was the housing for the cache. Replaced container and increased height by a factor of two. Cache will hopefully be around for a while and not get muggled again! May require taller finder if in a group (see hint if absolutely necessary). Most adults of average height or better can get this one in new location. No need to get involved with spiny plants around front, but you might need to get closer. PLEASE replace natural camo so this one stays out of plain sight!
