In recognition of the 2008 Opening Day At Lake Tahoe, there will be a celebration held on June 28th and 29th, 2008 in South Lake Tahoe. This 2-day event will identify unique locations on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe that will highlight the best that the area has to offer. From the waterfront to the mountain trails, you’ll leave no stone unturned for this one-of-a-kind event located in a world-class destination. This open event is geared toward anyone who wishes to learn more about GPS units and geocaching as an activity, and for experienced geocachers.

At each location there will be a number of stickers in the cache container (most are decon containers). Take one sticker and place the sticker on your Stamp Card in the square for that cache. If there are no more stickers, record the code words that are inside the lid of the container on the stamp card. Once you have finished your search, return to the starting point with your Stamp Card indicating which locations you visited. You will receive one raffle ticket for each location marked as visited or found on your Stamp Card.

We are only allowing for one Stamp Card per group/team/family this year to make it easier for the individual cachers to win prizes during the raffle.

FTF prizes are small blue LTVA flashlights included in the container. DON"T UNWRAP THEM BEFORE CLAIMING YOUR FTF PRIZE AT THE EMBASSY SUITES. THE WRAPPER HAS THE CACHE NUMBER ON IT THAT CORRESPOND TO THE PRIZES.
