Geocache Description:

The Leffingwell's were a ranching family who homesteaded this area in the 1800s. There was a short pier here and dairy products were shipped from the wharf. All that is left now is the name, and a wonderful place to have a pic-nic. Take note of the very tall Monterey Cypress trees that are over 130 years old. About 150 yards to the north is the benchmark "LEFFINGWELL" that is that is marked 1885. Agreat short walk and a million dollar view at sunset.

Lots of foot traffic. Try not to be caught. Please Re-hide well.
