Since I placed the cache a new fence has been erected cutting it off from the road and the whole area has been developed so much that I had to find a new cache placement. Please use the puzzle solution and enter them into the new formulas to determine the final location.
Sometime during the last century two people were waiting around lunchtime at a bus stop in order to get home. During the waiting period they conversed about everything possible, about the pyramids of the old Egyptians, the deceased Giacomo Puccini, the invention of the steam engine, the Suez channel, ...
It turned out that the two were born on the same day in different years and in addition each of the two ages would equal the checksum of their birth years.
A coincidentally passing elderly man with a white Panama hat overheard their discussion and immediately concluded from these facts logically that the two would have birthday on this very day and congratulated them.
Question:
When and at which weekday (Monday = 1) did the discussion take place? When were they born?
To give you an example let's assume the birth year of one of the two people is 1956. Then the checksum of the birth year is 21 meaning the discussion would have taken place in 1977.
Now to the computation:
The cache is hidden at N 38° ab.cde W 120° fg.hij.
abcde = ( weekday of discussion + sum of day and month of discussion ) * birth year of the younger + ( age of the elder - sum of day and month of birthday of the elder squared ) * ( age of the younger + age of the elder + sum of day and month of birthday of the younger )
fghij = weekday of discussion squared * ( birth year of the younger – age of the younger )
