Barão de São João is a rural
parish of the Lagos Council, Faro District, which has an area of
51.75 square kilometres, and is situated in the extreme North East
of the Council area, bordered to the North by the Parish of
Bordeira (Aljezur Council); to the East by the Parish of Bensafrim
(Lagos Council); to the South by the Parishes of São Sebastião and
Luz (Lagos Council) and to the West by the Parishes of Barão de São
Miguel, Budens and Vila de Bispo (Vila de Bispo
Council).
