Bear Bear's Rest Stop & Bug Motel Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wis Kid: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

A travel bug rest stop and exchange point located just off highway 41 at a popular truck stop. There are many reasons to stop here: To gas up, use the restrooms, get a cup of coffee, a bite to eat or a snack for the kids. And now there is another reason to stop, geocaching! This should be an easy find - placed with travel bugs in mind. Trade them or just drop them off if they need to keep moving.

The cache is a 50 cal. ammo can just waiting for some temporary residents. A nice place for weary travelers that want to stretch their legs and pause to look for a cache. Placement was done to try to minimize the need for stealth but we ask that you still be cautious.

As long as you’re here you might as well find a couple of other caches, there are two within two tenths of a mile:

Serve and Protect (GCZ5JM), west of the truck stop at N 44° 17.750 W 088° 18.860 and
Little Chute P & H (GCR6XK), north of the truck stop at N 44° 18.016 W 088° 18.741.

The drivers of the snowplows will determine just how winter friendly this cache is.

Note: This cache is on private property. The business manager (Gary S.) has given his permission to place it there.
