Geocache Description:

The cache is a small tuperware style container It contains a log book and some miscellaneous trade items. I named it this because usually I hide hard to find micros, so I figured I would change it up a bit a hide some bigger ones. Please Don't Park on the road above the cache this is a no parking zone and can be dangerous to do so, as this is a very busy street!!! There is a parking area to the west a short distance away.

The cache is located just off Dutcher Trail close to the fire pit in a little known county park named Earl Guss Park. When I was placing this cache I ran into the parks caretaker Bruce Larsen and we had a nice visit. He was a wealth of information about the history of this park and also Dutcher Trail. I'll share a little of this information with you. This park is named after Earl Guss in honor of all the volunteer work he has done for the park systems. He was one of the founding members of the Yellowstone River Parks Asscociation, founded in 1989. This is a nonprofit organization that makes improvments with in the park system. They are also the driving force behide the develoment of Dutcher Trail.Bruce told me the tunnel under main street should be completed some time this summer. My hats off to all these members that volunteer their time to make the outdoors a fun place to be.
HAPPY HUNTING
