This cache was placed to honor all the boys and girls who participate in area youth sports.
Southeastern Arizona has a very robust sports program. All year, boys and girls, along with countless parents spend hours coaching and mentoring children of all ages. The children are taught not only the rules of the games, but also important life lessons, like sportsmanship and fair play.
This cache is placed in the middle of the Sierra Vista sports complex. While here, try and catch a game, there’s one almost every night. Stealth is always an issue with an urban cache, and this one is no exception. Be mindful of your surroundings and as always, practice CITO. There is a garbage can nearby.
