in our disclaimer.
This cache is accessible from Hwy 20 or Hwy 29 on the Nice-Lucerne Cutoff Rd.
This cache is a multicache (2 different stages).
The cache is located at Rodman Slough Park. Lots of people fish here. There are lots of wildlife species. The sloughs marshes provide spawning grounds for Blue Gill, Crappie, Channel Cat and Large mouth Bass. River otter have been seen now and then, while freshwater sponges may occur in the slough during flooding conditions. Other wildlife that can be seen include the Western Pond turtle, Red-legged Frog, Mountain Lion, Black Bear, Coyote, Bobcat, Black Tail Deer, Gray Fox as well as Hares, Jackrabbits, Raccoons, Skunks, Mice, and of course, snakes and lizards are common here too. For you bird watchers, there is an Off-Spray (Eagle) nest on a stand to see. Every year we have seen babies in it too. There are a few picnic tables are available. Be careful of poison oak at both stages.
Be sure to do stage 1 first. IMPORTANT-this stage is missing.
Coordinates to 1st stage are above. 1st stage is a cammoed medicine bottle with log book and it contains the combination numbers to 2nd stage (Please put paper w/combination back in container), bring your own writing tool.
Coordinates to 2nd stage are N39 07.005 W122 53.269 and this is a ammo box with log book/pencil, TB's, geocoins, digital fish and safe trade able items.
VERY IMPORTENT-If you take a TB, geocoin or digital fish, please try to leave one in trade so others can enjoy the trade also. Thanks.
As you pull into parking lot, park on the left side of parking lot corner, then walk up the path going up the hill. This will save you from bushwacking.
CAUTION:Be careful of poison oak and snakes.
12/8/08 Due to us moving out of state to Georgia the end of June 2009, we had a few cachers interested in adopting our caches, so we are thanking Razorback68 for wanting this cache. Thanks to all of the visits it had.
Be safe and happy caching.

12/9/08 After Razorback68 visited and signed the log, she decided that she was going to adopt this cache. We thank her very much. We have to archive this cache and make it a traditional cache and then send it to her for adoption.
