1.Österreichische Motorrad Event Event Cache

Willkommen bei dem ersten Österreichischen Motorrad Event. Es ist jeder, der Freude am Geocachen und am Motorrad fahren hat, eingeladen bei diesem Event teilzunehmen.

Wer darf teilnehmen:

Jeder, der mit einem Motorrad (Mopeds mit roten Kennzeichen sind nicht erwünscht) oder Beiwagen kommt, ist herzlichst eingeladen teilzunehmen. Wir wollen keine Motorradgruppe ausschliessen, also egal ob Chopper, Tourer, Strassenmotorrad, Roller oder Enduro, jeder ist eingeladen.

Warum:

Auf der einen Seite um gemeinsam eine kleine Motorrad Tour zu machen, und auch um etwas Erfahrungsaustausch im Bereich Mo-Caching zu betreiben.

Ablauf:

Wir werden uns zwischen 11:30 und 12:00 in Mariazell treffen und anschliessend eine kleine Tour gemeinsam fahren. Bei dieser Tour dürfen keine Begleitfahrzeuge teilnehmen. Nach der Tour werden wir ein Wirtshaus anfahren, wo es anschliessend den Ausklang gibt. Wer will, kann im Wirtshaus auch übernachten.

Treffpunkt: N47 46.917 E15 18.546

Wir werden uns am Bahnhof von Mariazell treffen. Bitte mit vollem Tank kommen. Der Treffpunkt wurde so gewählt, dass wir die Motorräder in Sicht behalten und dabei einen Kaffee trinken können.

Tour:

Die Tour bleibt bis zum Treffen geheim. Lasst euch doch überraschen. Als Richtlinie werden wir versuchen eine Länge von ca. 150 km einzuhalten. Die Geschwindigkeit wird sich nach dem Langsamsten richten (was aber kein Ausschlusskriterium für irgend jemanden sein soll). Ab 16 teilnehmenden Motorrädern werden wir uns in 2 Gruppen aufteilen.

Ausklang: N47 39.059 E14 45.729

Der Ausklang wird in Mooslandl beim Mooswirt ( http://members.aon.at/mooswirt/ ) stattfinden.

Wer danach nicht nach Hause fahren will, kann natürlich beim Mooswirt übernachten. Bis zum 1. März sind für uns Zimmer vorreserviert auf das Kennwort GEOCACHE-EVENT. Neben dem Gasthof gibt es auch noch einen Campingplatz und Holzhäuschen.

Andere Treffpunkte (z.B. In Salzburg oder Linz, ...) können hier nach Zusendung noch gerne ergänzt werden.

Welcome to the first Austrian motorcycle event.

Every geocacher who likes to combine geocaching and motorbiking is invided to join this event.

Who is allowed to join:

Everybody showing up with a motorbike or a motorbike with sidecar (not moped with red registration) is welcomed. We don’t want to exclude any group of motorbike riders, no matter if it is a chopper, touring bike, race bike, scooter or enduro.

Why:

We would like to ride a short tour together and exchange some experiences about geocaching with the motorbike.

Agenda:

We will meet between 11:30 and 12:00 in Mariazell for a short motorbiking tour.

The tour will end at an inn where we will reserve a table.

If someone wants to accompany a motorbike cacher with a car it is OK for us to join at the restaurant, but please understand that the motorbiking tour is reserved for motorbikes (and sidecars) only.

Meeting point N47° 46.917 E15° 18.546:

We will meet at the railway station in Mariazell. Please refuel your bike before arrival.

We have selected a meetingpoint where it should be possible to keep an eye on your motorbike while heaving a coffe.

Tour:

The exact route is a surprise and stays secret until the meeting. As guidance you can calculate with an overall length of approximately 150km. We will adjust the speed to the slowest bike(er), and that should not be a reason for anybody to stay at home! If the group exceeds more than 16 bikes we will split up in two groups.

The event will end at the Mooslandl at the Mooswirt inn.(http://members.aon.at/mooswirt ).

Those who do not like to ride home afterwards should reserve rooms there.

Until first of March we have pre reserved some rooms. Please use the codeword GEOCACHE-EVENT if you want to confirm the reservation there. Beside the inn there is the possibility to camp or to sleep in little wooden cabins.
