Kanava menee osan matkasta maan alla.

Jos jaksat kävellä pidemmästi, pysäköi auto Pitkämön vesivoimalaitokselle ja kävele rantaa pitkin purkille. Kätkön lähellä on jousiammuntarata, jonka parkkipaikalle voit myös jättää auton.
