About GPS
Adventures Canada
GPS Adventures Canada, a traveling exhibit created in partnership
between Groundspeak and Minotaur Mazes, prominently
features Alberta’s Canadian Badlands, and is a smaller
version of the GPS
Adventures Maze Exhibit currently touring North America. The
educational exhibit will launch in Three Hills, Alberta in time for
the 2011 Best of the Bad Mega
Event (GC2GA1J) before embarking on a Canadian tour.
Attendees will learn about GPS through interactive science
experiences in a 1,500 square foot indoor maze and an outdoor GPS
training course. The maze will take visitors through three main
rooms - Tools of Discovery, Modern Explorer, and Discovering the
Canadian Badlands - each dedicated to interactive science
learning.
After exploring the indoor maze, participants can move to the
outdoor course and locate nearby geocaches using GPS units
available at the exhibition venue.
Geocachers who log their attendance at the GPS Adventures Canada
Maze will earn a unique icon for the GPS Adventures
Maze Exhibit Cache type.
