Geocache Description:

Placed by two dogs in the park where we like to walk, the Lake Frank Park in Gaithersburg, MD. Enter at the Meadowside Nature Center parking lot, off Muncaster Mill Road. There is another parking lot for Lake Frank but to get to the area of the cache you will need to walk much further. See posted pictures for what the nature center looks like. Plan on some off trail and you will probably get your feet wet (people and dogs). Once again see pictures for what to expect.

This is a multi part cache, please grab a trail map at the beginning of the trail to make it easier to find your way back to the parking lot at the end. There are 2 clue caches cleverly hidden in bright colored plastic Easter eggs with the coordinates for the next step written on the outside, please write them down with paper and writing instrument you bring with you. The final cache is in a Ammunition can, it contains a picture of us (Ambrose and Angus)along with some doggy goodies and a few other things. Please leave us a note in the notebook. Due to this final cache disappearing in the past we have hidden it very well beneath a downed tree. There is a picture of the tree posted here.

NOTE: our GPS only reads in decimal degrees so both the raw data and that converted into the geocaching format are listed in the clue caches, so you can check our math if you like.

Have fun and enjoy our park.

Ambrose and Angus
