"Mount Busy" is the mountain located near Busytown in some Richard
Scarry books. My sons were big fans of these books when we moved
into this neighborhood in 1999, and this hill has been "Mount Busy"
ever since. The three of us (S, B & K) climbed up here today
and placed a cache at the apex.
The nearest parking is at N37.18.451 W122.03.639. Hiking shoes
aren't absolutely required (my sons made it up in their sneakers,)
but they make it easier. If it's a warm day, water is a good idea
too. There are some steep drops on the way up and in the general
area of the cache, so I don't recommend doing this one at night. I
also don't recommend coming here when the ground is really wet.
The coordinates should be right on, which should help you in
your search. I had an EPE of 4.9 when I hid it.
If you haven't been there already, be sure and visit
Deer Trail Trek while you're here. It's only .15 miles away,
but getting from here to there is...interesting.
