Located close to the RSPB reserve on the Conwy estuary and overlooking Conwy Castle.
This cache is a small back plastic box, larger than a micro, but only small swaps or bugs. There is limited parking at N53 16.769 W003 48.554 which is located just off a junction of the A55 Trunk Road, follow signs for the RSPB.
This area offers great views over the Conwy Esturay, which when the tide is out is shows all the mud flats that attracts the birds and local wildlife. When the tied is in, it will reach almost all the way the the cache.
To your right is the town of Conwy, with it's castle and historic bridges crossing the water. The Box tunnle bridge is still used today as this is the main London to holyhead train line. A new road bridge was built some years ago, the suspension bridge now belonging to the national trust, however most of todays traffic travels un the the river through the Conwy Tunnel.
For those that enjoy a longer walk, why not combine this cache with the "Pretty as a Picture" Cache (GCJ93K) where you can enjoy the views of the castle from the other side. The New bridge is now open, so just carry on walking or cycling along the path to get to it.
