THIS EVENT
Where: 'The Pit' area at the back of
the restaurant, Chelsea Brewery Company, Chelsea Piers, Pier 59,
NYC, NY. 10011. I'll wear my yellow eTrex so you'll know I'm a
cacher.
When: From 7pm on Monday November
28th 2011.
What: A chance
for those who didn't make it to the
launch party in Swansea, Wales, or any of the Countdown to the
Geolympix events since (Oxford, Berlin, London) to hear more about the
Geolympix, discuss NYC caches (I hope to find some while I'm in
town), caching and cachers and swap (international?) travel items
in convivial surroundings. There will also be Geolympix freebies
available on a First Come First Freebied basis.
Who: All
cachers welcome! - You don't even have to be interesting in the
Geolympix. You can just come for a drink and a geo-natter. New to
caching? You're especially welcome!
THE GEOLYMPIX
Where: The Oxford Town Hall, Oxford,
UK. A convenient, central location and a historic venue and
surroundings.
When: The main event is on Sunday
July 22nd 2012, with a full programme of events - including CITO,
Camping and Night Caching - around it.
What: An international celebration
of geocaching, featuring a series of events and challenges to make
this a Summer Festival of Caching! With all profits going to
charity, a chance to find 11 Icons in 11 Hours and fill up your D/T
Grid locally, plus a wealth of other features - talks, debates,
sales stands, geocoins and more - we hope you'll love our
plans.

being organised to be a GeoKid & GeoDog-friendly
programme.
