Situated in one of Baltimore County's newest parks, this cache
involves a nice, easy walk along a popular paved path, followed by
a very short "bushwhack." Getting to cache can prove difficult and
painful, or easy and painless, depending upon the approach! Once
you find it and are finished with the cache, PLEASE make sure it is
placed back in its hiding spot and sufficiently
re-hidden!
Parking is available at a large lot on Falls
Road just south of Joppa Road, very near where I-83 South and I-695
merge. If the northernmost access gates are closed continue a
little further south on Falls and you'll find another entrance that
remains open all the time (doubles as a park and ride lot). After
parking, cross the footbridge to enter the park. We highly
recommend walking/biking/skating the whole loop path if you have
the time-- it's only around a mile long. A particularly nice view
can be enjoyed from the benches atop the hill at the north end of
the park, adjacent to the bird-thronged wildflower meadow.
This cache is named after Molly, a wire fox terrier that is the pet
of our good friends the O’Tooles. Molly is a sweety of a dog that
excels at using the “aren’t I cute” routine to regularly get out of
trouble! Molly has never actually been to the park, being that she
lives pretty far away, but the park IS very popular with dog owners
(who are respectfully requested to keep their canines leashed while
visiting, and to kindly clean up after any doggy bombs left
behind!). Kids will enjoy the playground, which isn’t very far from
the cache. While at the park be sure to seek out Rattrap's Wear
Your Boots cache!
