ANOTHER IN SERIES OF CACHES DESIGNED TO TAKE YOU TO THE TEN FOOTBALL VENUES OF THE PAC-12 CONFERENCE
Leland Stanford, Junior bequeathed this lovely and very large parcel of land from his farm to the state with the express desire to see a major institute of learning built and maintained for all to use. Along with superior academics, the athletic program is very strong across the board. The facilities are among the world's finest, including, finally, this brand new football stadium, which replaced the older and rather decrepit one.
The team is generally good, sometimes brilliant. The Band is a sight to behold.
The cache is a rather easy find outside of the stadium behind the press box area.
Original contents include stickers, a green stone, a button, and a log sheet. Bring your own pen or pencil
Ought to be pretty easy.
Thanks to kreebelle and kids for volunteering to maintain this cache for me, as I only visit every two years in my duties as radio announcer for USC.
