This cache is in a clear plastic container, with a beige colored lid, approximately 12 by 8 inches in size, and about 3 inches deep. When I placed it, it contained two #2 pencils, a note pad and a pencil sharpener in one plastic zip-lock bag. Two AA batteries. A Happy Face Hacky Sac. Chinese Checker computer game on 3 1/2 inch disk. One Jigsaws Galore computer game on 3 ½ inch disk. Blake Stone, Aliens of Gold, computer game on two (2) , 3 ½ inch disks. Two extra, empty, plastic zip lock bags, and the Geocache Site information sheet.
This cache is beside the Hollister Public Wildlife Area. Because of this, there is an abundance of wildlife in this area. Birds, ducks, small mammals, frogs, toads, turtles, lizards, and of course snakes. Should you see any of them, please watch them and enjoy them. Please do not try to catch them, and definitely do not kill them. They all play a part in Mother Natures food chain. They all have their own purpose.
If you should see something that frightens you, (snakes will be a good example for most people), stop, stand still, and give them an escape route and some time to run. I guarantee, if you do this, they will try to get away from you. Let's put the shoe on the other foot for a minute. Say you are laying on the beach soaking up some rays, when all of a sudden you see a 300 foot tall monster, the ugliest thing you have ever seen. Well, that's what you look like to them. Are you going to (A) run over and bite it on the foot? Or (B) find a place to run and hide? If you are as smart as a snake, you will try to find somewhere to hide. Give them the chance and that's what they will do. Trust me on this, Please. Remember, take only pictures, leave only footprints, and please enjoy the outdoors with out destroying it or killing any thing. Thank You, Steve
