Geocache Description:

16th July 2008-cache checked & is still there. Clue has been revised. Gentle walk along footpath which can get muddy if loads of rain. Okay for pushchairs.

New log book & pencil added 30-04-06 after being muggled.

Well here we go! A new Cache from the alec_zak camp!

The Cache is hidden in the village of Barby Nr Rugby. Quiet little village with one pub & one shop!

Within the village is the remains of an old Norman Motte & Baily, unfortunately this is on private land so no access is allowed.

Barby is also famous for the Maclaren Pushchairs. So all you parents out there may remember the original blue/white or red/white stripped pushchairs which folded up! These were invented & originally manufactured in Barby. I believe they are now manufactured in Long Buckby.

As you draw closer to the cache please use the footpath & track to access the site.
I suggest you park you car courteously (farmers use the lane) at the start of the lane.

Within the Cache.
The Cache is a plastic tub.
Welcome letter explaining the theory behind Geocaching.
Notebook & pencil so please leave the time/date & any comments.
A book (BCID 102-3132258) which has been registered on (visit link) (Book Crossing)
You can just take the book but a better idea would be to go to (Book Crossing) (visit link) and register your own book (BCID number) & leave it in place of the one you take!
If you do take the book then once you get home please register the BCID number at (visit link) as a find.

And let’s see how far this book can travel!

Good luck
