Vielleicht entdeckst du ja ein besonderes Exemplar? Dieser Trail führt dich durch die Thurebene im Westen von Frauenfeld.
There is so much to discover in nature. But do you know all the flowers you see? On this trail, you can get to know the plants more closely. Look around well! Perhaps you discover a special one? This trail leads you through the lowlands of the Thur in the west of Frauenfeld.

 The Horehound
Der Andorn (Marrubium), Orant oder Mutterkraut ist eine Pflanzengattung in der Familie der Lippenblütler (Lamiaceae) mit 47 Arten. Sie besitzt eine vor allem eurasische und nordafrikanische Verbreitung. Andorn-Arten sind ausdauernde krautige Pflanzen.
Marrubium (horehound or hoarhound) is a genus of flowering plants in the family Lamiaceae, native to temperate regions of Europe, North Africa, and Asia as far east as the Xinjiang region of western China. A few species are also naturalized in North and South America. The genus name Marrubium derives from the Hebrew marrob or bitter juice. The common name horehound is of unknown origin, but with the first part 'hore' derived from "hoary", "hairy".
