A small cache situated at one of the islands many rocky beaches.
Green Goat sits to the North East of Millport between Lion Rock and Butter Lump and just South of Davy’s Dub at the foot of Fairland Hill...wow...so many names!!
From the cache location, again on the islands sheltered Eastern shore you can get excellent views over the Fairlie Roads to the mainland offering Industrial (Hunterston) Urban (Largs) and Rural (Everywhere else) views and photo opportunities. The Fairlie Roads offers a sailing Mecca and the coastal trip around Great Cumbrae Island will provide you with many opportunities to see everything from Submarines to tall ships with many a variant in between.
