Welcome to the other side of Wilson Lake at Scotland Run Park. There is a small asphalt trail located right across the road from Gleason's Sports Bar. You can park in the small u-shaped driveway that marks the beginning of the trail; just make sure that you don't block the gate. You won't be on the trail for long, as it's best to begin your bushwack closer to the road. Don't worry, it opens up a little as you get closer to the lake.
The well-hidden black lock & lock container is full of fishing-related items. I started the cache off with a few bobbers, saltwater fishing rigs, and a few other little things.
A few years ago, my Dad came up from Texas and introduced us to geocaching. Our first find was the Highlander#1 which is located just a little further up the trail. When I was a boy, I spent my summers here: fishing, swimming, and doing lots of other things that kept me out of trouble.
My GPS numbers were bouncing around a little, so I made sure to make GZ a little more noticable. If you can remember to bring a trash bag with you, that would be great, too. Anything that floats seems to end up on this side of the lake.
