Geocache Description:

This is part of the smilely series of caches. The cache is NOT at the posted above coords. Micro Wave Hunter asked me to place a cache at these coords. It is one large, dark, swamp here! I found some very interesting mud & swamp gas at these coords. So much so, I went back to take some specimens back to my home for some lab analysis. The wife was not happy with me.

I used my Mass Spectrometer to determine the following from my
samples:

A small amount of Beryllium was found in the mud from my boots,
Helium was found in the gas sample along with Selenium. Cobalt was
in the dirt on my caching bag and I found some Fluorine in my
second gas sample from the bubbly stuff in the water.

As I headed West to get out of the swamp, I stopped for another sample site. I found NO GOLD~ zero! Oxygen was everywhere along with Lithium. I was glad that the Arsenic Levels were very low. If they were high, I would report my findings to the DNR.
Gallium was rare but I found it on the mud on my pack and tracked some on to my carpet at home. That stuff does not come out of carpet. Beryllium and Radon were in my samples but I think the Radon was from my basement and not from my samples from the swamp. Thanks Micro Wave Hunter for sending me into this fine swamp. It was a lot of fun.

Cache has a high Terrain rating but it is easier than the posted coords. Winter or wet weather will make this one tougher. The cache coords are in the two paragraphs above. The cache is very near to a good sized parking area.

Thanks to the Proud Lake Rec Area for the permit of this cache. A park permit is needed to enter the State Park.
