A fun four-stage, easy multi cache. Total hike is about 1.5 miles roundtrip
This is the kind of cache that I would have wanted to take my kids to - had geocaching existed back when they were young enough to still want to do things with me : ) It is a multi cache with four easy stages. All with a little bit of "fear factor" in them. It was created with children in mind, and I think it's perfect for 4 to 12 year olds . So bring your child(ren) and come out and enjoy the fun, the hike and the view ! Don't have a child ? Borrow one ! Or bring your "inner child" ! Park at the Dudley Farm and take the time to look at the old buildings, the garden and the animals. You can even find another cache here ! The Red Trail starts right after the chicken coop ! You will be following the red trail all the way.The trail will be crossing a small road, so keep an eye on the little ones. Stage one is a small cammoed lock-and-lock box hidden on a rock ledge by a large tree. The "messengers" will have the last three coordinates for the next stage which is at N 41 21 --- W 072 42--- Make sure you use THESE coordinates for stage 2 !!
