Take Old SH 58 from Barstow to Hinkley, Hinkley Rd. to Lost Lake. See Bill Mann's Vol. 1, Guide to 50 Interesting and Mysterious Sites in the Mojave, for detailed route to Fertility Cave and Lost Lake. Waypoint turn to Lost Lake is N 35 deg. 07.546, W 117 deg. 06.261.
Cache is ammo box with red lettering, located near a volcanic outcrop, approximately 351 deg. mag. from quarter section corner marker on dry lake bed. Note: Due to unstable rocks, cache has been moved to a new location within 100 ft. of its orginal location.
