Easily accessible once on the island. Easily found once in a caching frame of mind. Repeling down the nearby bank is not required, in fact a guard rail prohibits such (& probably the kanji signs also). Logbook & miniature pen found within. Bring chisai "IN"s since cache is a micro, magnetic type.
On the secluded, winding road to this cache you may feel you are alone but there are many nekko eyes upon you. You must cross under the red bridge on approach or veer down the narrow alley upon return in order to find the winding road. Pass the cats sleeping on the skooter seats but do not try coming up the cliffs from the water! Via the road there are many bends but follow your GPS to find your way.
DIRECTIONS TO ENOSHIMA: take train from Fujisawa, Kamakura or Ofuna Station (via unusual hanging Mono-Rail); get off at Enoshima stop then walk 2km to Enoshima island. (visit link)
The island's terrain & paths are gentle but getting to any location on this island requires a lot of walking and typical elevation gains (though there are a few escalators and paths are well-maintained). Enoshima has so much to see and so much variety. Link covers the basics. In nice weather there is a tiny boat along the causeway with service to back side of island. Taking the inexpensive ferry, if in season, will save "half the walking" & allow you to see twice as much.
