A cache placed in honor of Air Force General Carl A. Spaatz (pronounced Spots). The four-star General who was born in Boyertown, PA, served in both WWI and WWII.
The cache is placed at a local memorial spot for the General. Take note of the two four-star general flags flying along with the American flag. The red is for Army, blue is for Air Force. (Spaatz also served in the United States Army Air Corps).
General Spaatz became the first Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force.
