Geocache Description:

Part of the Rainbow series that provide clues to the whereabouts of the Pot O' Gold cache.

When I began caching in the spring of 2003, my very first multi-cache was Fergie le Frog's >RAINBOW ORANGE series of caches. I was eager to find all of the colors of the >RAINBOW ORANGE and collect the necessary information to find the Pot O' Gold, which was the culmination of the series.

Years have passed, and Fergie is immersed in other activities that have left little time for caching. With the gradual demise of the caches, I felt that they deserved to be preserved, as they have provided a lot of entertainment for locals and visitors, alike. I recently contacted Fergie to see if she would like me to adopt the series and get them back up and running. She was relieved to know that they would be given new life and continue to serve the caching community.

Some of the caches have been moved to completely new areas. Some have been moved to different coordinates within the same area, and all have new items, containers and logbooks to begin their reincarnations. I had to archive the old caches in order to allow folks to log these anew.

RAINBOW ORANGE (Take 2) is in a completely new location. It is a small cache that will hold small tradeables, and the theme for this cache is (you guessed it) ORANGE!!! Please leave only ORANGE items in the cache if you wish to trade.

The Clues for the POT O' GOLD cache are written on the cover of the logbook, as well as on an ORANGE popsicle stick that is inside the cache. Please do not take the popsicle stick.

I hope you enjoy the rebirth of this series, and thank Fergie le Frog for her early contributions to this obsession we call "geocaching"!!!
