Water Dog Lake Traditional Cache
NavySparksandtheMrs: I really goofed on this cache. Somehow it got under my radar and my thanks to bthomas for mentioning it to me. Due to some important issues this summer I had totally forgotten about it. I just returned from Water Dog Lake and the cache is missing. Additionally, the cover where it was hidden is also gone so time to say bye to this one. Hope those of you who found it had fun in doing so.

The cache is located along side the trail. There is no need to go
off the trail into the underbrush to find the cache.The walk into
the park is not real steep, but it is a reasonably good workout. It
can get hot in the park on a warm day so be sure to take water with
you.
Water Dog Lake is a neat place to hike into. There is also at least
one other persons cache in the park. The trail is wide and easy to
navigate. Watch out for mountain bikers, although the ones I
encountered were riding safely as most riders do. There is a sign
at the trail head warning of mountain lions. It gives some good
advice so be sure to take a moment to read it. Just something to
keep in mind in the hills of the San Francisco Bay Area. The cache
is a plastic food container and I have put stuff in it that I hope
you enjoy and find useful. PLEASE USE CARE WHEN RETURNING THE CACHE
TO ITS HIDING PLACE AND BE SURE IT IS COVERED. Thanks!
