Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed for the CARL3 event. This cache was released to the public on Thursday June 9th. The cache should not be located prior to 6 p.m. Friday June 10. The caches for the CARL3 event are released early so that the geocaching community has an opportunity to plan their routes prior to the event start.

I like the Brass Cap Cache (GC43F3) and I know there is some more of us out there who are into it. So I thought I will sett some home made ones up around my town. I made them multi-caches because I also wanted cachers to do some extra walking or hiking, depends on terrain. And also because I sett these up for the CARL event and they had to be at least small. The first stages are home made Capes and the ones who know what to look for, they know what they are and how they look. Just for those in case who do not know how they look, the real ones are usualy 2.5 inches dimeter brass disces with numbers on them. But I could not get brass so I just made them out of copper. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THEM FROM THEY SPOT !!! because I secured them there good, just get the coords off of them. The second stages are small containers. So go out and get them.

Not mutch caches down here so far in this nice park (maybe because it is a bit of a hike from parking). So I thought we need some more here for those who like to go to nice and quiet places like this and the CARL event is a good reason to bring people down here. So this way I could introduce this nice wilderness to them. Because this reason I though I will make it worth for them to come down here. So I hidd lots of caches here. It is a bit of a hike, but please BE CAREFULL OF RATTLESNAKES, have seen one so far out there in the hills on the first of Jun. 2011. but not in the woods. So before you reach into any holes use caution anyways, use stick & poke in holes to find. If the river is flooding in the spring or early summer after lots of rain, you can not go down there !!! Even after rain it could be muddy for a while. Note park hours are 6am to 10pm. You could park in the parking area at N49*38.397 W112*53.303
