Geocache Description:

In woods on the beautiful West Pennine Moors between Rivington and Anglezarke

G:UK cache rating

Mr Bean's Cache is dedicated to "Lucy" the Nodrog Family's beloved West Highland Terrier.
Her young life was so tragically lost while she was enjoying a day out caching with her family.

This is the second in our series of caches named after our Lancashire Heelers, the first being Dotties Delight , the third Emmas Cache and the fourth being Megs Mansion.

Mr Bean is Dottie's son. He is 8 years old and a really special little chap or some may say a real little "mummy's boy".

The cache is again located in one of our favourite dog walking areas around the West Pennine Moors.

The Original Cache contains

T.B. Lancashire Heeler

Dog Blanket (new)

Red Dog Collar and Lead (new)

Handmade Dog Card (new)

Encyclopedia of Dogs book (new)

Rubber Dog Dumbell (new)

Rubber Dog Bone (new)

We have tried to make this cache special for our doggie loving caching buddies. Please try to help us by keeping to a dog related theme when trading.

This is a lovely circular walk partly by road.
We suggest parking at N53 38.377 W002 34.214
Cross the road onto the footpath which passes between the two reservoirs and follow this path until you see a definate right turn into another wall lined lane. Follow this down to the end, turn right onto the road then follow your GPS.
After emerging back onto the road you can return to your vehicle the way you came or turn right and follow the road then turn right again and this road will lead you back to your vehicle.
Alternatively you can park on the road at the entrance to the woods within 200ft of the cache location.
Gpsr reception is sporadic in the woods so you may need the photos we took to help.
Using a traditional compass may also help from the road within 200-300 feet of the cache.
