For a little longer hike, you can start at the trailhead located within Greenleaf State Park. 35 37.466, -95 10.004 Trail maps are available here. It is approximately 3 miles to the cache from here.
Original items within this cache include a flashlight, parachute cord, a computer game, binoculars, and a C.W. McCall CD with Wolf Creek Pass and Black Bear Road.
Greenleaf is one of the best state parks in Oklahoma, it has nice camping sites, the lake is warm and clear, and it has about 18 miles of hiking trail. It does not get as much boat traffic as the bigger lakes, so it is a great lake to go kayaking and canoeing.
