Ardínia: A Fuga .
Vamos levar-vos através da lenda!
Com esta série de 4 caches (
Romance;
Fuga;
Descanso Sabroso;
Amor Mortal ), pretendemos levar-vos a
conhecer 4 dos mais importantes lugares ligados à lenda da
princesa Ardínia (ou Ardinga). É um passeio simpático que se
inicia na Cidade de Lamego e termina no Concelho de Tabuaço.
O Segundo local - Ponte Romana de
Sande.
Aconselhamos o percurso através do waypoint 1,
deixar o automóvel no waypoint 2 e fazer o resto a pé (5 minutos),
uma vez que não é acessível de carro.
Lenda da
Princesa Ardínia:
Ao tempo do domínio muçulmano em Lamego,
era senhor do castelo um rei mouro de nome Alboacém., pai de uma
linda princesa de nome Ardínia.
A beleza da jovem era tal que seduziu
imediatamente o cavaleiro cristão Tedon, bisneto de Ramiro II de
Leão, quando um dia, disfarçado, veio a Lamego.
O primeiro encontro entre Tedon e
Ardínia aconteceu no laranjal do castelo numa noite de
luar.
Com o suceder dos encontros secretos, a
paixão proibida entre os dois jovens aumentou a ponto de decidirem
fugir.
Se bem o pensaram, melhor ela o fez e,
certa noite, juntamente com uma irmã que lhe anima o sonho formoso,
fugiu do castelo.
Seu amor levava asas e guiou-lhe os
passos por caminhos das cristas difíceis de transpor,( fuga) por
vales onde repousa à sombras das ermidas, (sabroso), acompanhada de
uma irmã colaça.
Finalmente chegaram ao mosteiro de S.
Pedro das Águias (amor). Era lá abade o monge Gelásio e ouvidas as
pretensões da bela moura respondeu-lhe que, para ser esposa do
cavaleiro, tinha primeiro de abraçar a fé de Cristo. Ela assim o
fez: recebeu o baptismo e desposou D. Tedon.
Ao dar fé da fuga da filha,Enfurecido, o
“váli” seu pai procurou Ardinga pelo caminho que conduz aos
cristãos. Encontra-a e, duro no perdão, mistura o sangue mártir da
filha com as águas inocentes do rio.
O cavaleiro enamorado, ao saber destas
novas, fez voto de nunca se casar, vindo a ser morto em combate com
os muçulmanos, junto ao rio Tedo, que por isso tomou o seu
nome.
Até hoje se afirma na região que, quando
o castelo é envolvido pelo nevoeiro no Inverno, a alma da princesa
esvoaça sobre ele.

of the most important places related to the legend of Princess
Ardínia (or Ardinga). It is a nice walk which begins in the City
of Lamego and ends at the county of Tabuaço.

Ardínia legend:
