Geocache Description:

Our original Crossing the Rubicon cache (GC4JPGZ) disappeared during a major road repair near ground zero.  We archived it, but when the repairs were completed, a friendly neighbor replaced the cache container right where it was before.  Rather than attempting to un-archive the original cache, we have created an identical cache on the exact same spot.  If you found the first one, feel free to find the new one too.

The idiom "Crossing the Rubicon" means to pass a point of no return, and refers to Julius Caesar's army's crossing of the river in 49 BC, which was considered an act of insurrection.  This is an easy park 'n grab cache. No need to cross the body of water that lies beyond this cache
