Geocache Description:

You will find a box of rocks.

Pretty rocks have fascinated man since the beginning of time. They are still among the things we hold most valuable. Agates, jaspers, gold, diamonds, and Rainbow obsidian.

This is one of the most visited rock-hounding locations in the west. You can always get some pretty rocks here. Be sure to stop at the Davis Creek store, or the Forest Service station and get your free use permit.

I thought this would be a great place for a rock-hounding cache, and we have loaded this 50mm ammo can with some great rocks. Please bring a nice rock to trade, and please take only one per visit.

There is a small slab of charoite for the FTF.
