How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This is a paperback book exchange cache. No other trading items are in the cache. Bring your already read novels (keep it clean) and swap for one that your haven't read.
The six waypoints prior to the cache take the form of tags attached to trees or microcaches. All of them are well hidden.
Please hide the clues as you found them.

Be sure to dress for the weather, it can change fast on the desert so take the extras. Be sure to bring plenty of water and keep hydrated. You can expect to find many different types of animals in the Bad Lands. While setting up the cache we saw elk tracks, so keep your eyes open. If your take your dogs please keep them under control and please don't let them chase the critters. Take some trash bags with you and if you see some trash please pick it up and haul it out. This is one of the most beautiful areas in Central Oregon, yet there are still people (not Geocachers) that are willing to throw trash on the ground. When we set up the multi-cache coarse we tried to incorporate some of the different challenges we have found in other caches. This coarse should be challenging for even the most experienced geocachers. There is a first finders prize, a gift card for Barnes and Noble.Good luck and keep it safe.
