Geocache Description:

A bison tube hidden in the same spot as an older now archived cache. Access the cache through the apartment complex, the main gate is always open.

James Lick is famous for many things and most if not all of you know of Lick Observatory. If you haven't been caching very long you may not know of the wonderful historic treasures back in this apartment complex.

Read some interesting history here

Find the plaque at the coords, take the last two digits of the year that the plaque was placed, add 12 and project a waypoint that many feet away at a bearing of 246 degrees true north.
