Geocache Description:

Ready for a hike? This one is not nearly as bad as Timp in Utah county. Great views of Sevier Dry lake, Frisco peak to the south, and Wheeler peak in Nevada.

Come and check out the 2000' vertical drop off of the north face of Notch Peak in Millard county. The cache is a camo colored 2 1/2 gallon container. Original contents of the cache are: 1) 1 waterproof match container 2) 1 space blanket, 3) 2 light sticks 4) 2 hot wheels cars 5) a bag of life savers 6) 2 bic lighters. There is a log book and 2 pens.

Check the internet or any Utah hiking book for directions to the trail head location and description of the route. The trail is 3.5 miles long and climbs 2700 feet. Remember that this is a desert out here and take plenty of water.... Best times to hike are in the spring and Fall. It wasn't to bad today with the clouds. They cleared off by the time we started heading down and it was hot!
